The Society for Metadisciplinary Consciousness Research conducts and promotes both scientific projects and the development of technologies aimed at revealing and investigating the phenomenon of consciousness and its interactions in all their facets. Science is understood as the application of the scientific method and includes the systematic recording of inner states (qualia).
The epistemological foundation is post-materialist and takes into account the fact that ontology and epistemology are always intertwined. The approach is interdisciplinary in the broadest sense – it incorporates both scientific disciplines and mystical and magical traditions and practices, provided they are aligned with scientific methodology.
